There has been a change in the processing time for UK student visa applications. Now, the period will last up to an average of 5 weeks rather than 3 weeks. The delay has occurred due to the surge in the visa application.
Since, the flight services for work, education, and travel have been back on track, more and more users are applying for studying abroad in the UK.
However, in an interview, the British High Commission spokesperson apologized for the delay and inconvenience. He further added, “they are working on it and looking forward to reducing the current processing time.”
In the month of July and August, officials receive a maximum number of student visa applications. Hence, we recommend students apply as early as possible to avoid any delays.
Apart from the UK, other countries including the USA, Canada, and European countries have updated their visa time and are requesting students or visitors to apply in advance to avoid delays.
