The US Embassy in India has open windows for interviews for F, M, and J student visa categories. The slots are available for dates in June and the first half of July 2022.
If you are preparing to study in the USA, get yourself prepared for the student visa.
As we all know each year thousands and thousands of students apply for foreign universities. Keeping the fact in mind, the embassy has assured that in case any student fails to book slots during the shared period due to high demands, they look into the requests and arrange more slots in later months.
An official statement by the US Embassy was released stating,” If students don’t get an appointment in this tranche, there is no need to panic. We will make sure the slots remain open the rest of July and the first half of August later.”
Being an early start to student visa interviews, the officials are expected to grant more student visas compared to the previous years. Earlier, around 62,000 students were enrolled at US institutions in 2021.
Also, the proclaimed policy related to not granting a second chance to rejected applications for visa interviews has been revised by the US Embassy.
If your application got rejected earlier, do not lose hope. Instead, we suggest you watch for open appointments in the second half of August.
