  • Why Study Abroad?

  • Which country should I study?
    There are so many countries and options and to decide where you want to study is not always an easy task. Do consider your personal interests and think about practicalities such us cost of studying and living, graduate employability, overall safety and welfare. Generally, students miss out to consider their lifestyle and personal interests (such as sports, culture etc.) when choosing the country and city they wish to study. You must match these interests when deciding your study destination giving yourself the best chance of loving your international experience.
  • What if my parents don’t want me to go overseas?
    It’s natural for your family to be nervous about letting their child travel alone to a new country. It’s not their wish but a concern for you which stops you from studying abroad. There are number of questions in their mind; how will you manage meeting new people with different cultures, beliefs, sentiments and opinions? how much will be the tuition and living cost?   • How Do I get started?
    Once you have decided where you want to go, it’s time for you to start think about choosing a course and a university, if you haven’t already. IOES can help you in finding a right university and courses offered by them. Universities abroad offer a variety of courses that may not be available in your home country. We suggest you go through the course structure before you finalize a course. Once you have decided on your program and the institution it’s time for you to think about your application. Application process differ depending on the university and the country. IOES will guide you through the entire process starting from university application to student visa application.
  • When should I apply for study abroad?
    The best way to go is to start your application as early as possible. The sooner you gain acceptance into university, the sooner you can apply for visa and arrange your travels. To avoid delays, find out in advance all the relevant application deadlines in your diary/calendar. Application deadlines will be different depending on which country and intake you want to apply. Following is semester start times for some countries:   Australia Semester 1: starts late February/early March to late May/early June Semester 2: starts late July/early August through to November.   New Zealand Semester 1: from February to June Semester 2: from July to November   UK Term 1: from September to December Term 2: from January to April Term 3: from April to June   Canada Fall Intake: primary intake starts in August/September Spring Intake: smaller intake in January/February Summer Intake: limited programs intake in May/June   The above dates are a guide only. You should always check exact dates with the university or college you are applying to.
