Master’s Program Criteria:

  1. Students need to be permanent citizens and residents of a Commonwealth country.
  2. The student shouldn’t be more than 40 years.
  3. Students ought not to be enlisted for any master’s program in any foreign university.
  4. Students interested in studying abroad or in a training program can apply for a Commonwealth Scholarship.
  5. The student should be capable of studying in the UK without a scholarship.
  6. The student should have completed a three-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized board of study obtaining 60% in Humanities and Social Sciences (social science subjects) or 65% in Engineering, Technology, Science, and Agriculture (science subjects).
  7. Students need to present proof of English proficiency.
  8. Applicants who have already stayed abroad for training, specialization, or completion of studies either through scholarship or their funds can apply though they must have remained in India for two years after returning from abroad.

Ph.D. program criteria:

  1. Students need to belong to and be permanent residents of a Commonwealth country.
  2. The age limit is 40 years.
  3. Ph.D. program applicants ought to have a full-time master’s degree or need be in the final semester of the course. Moreover, they should have achieved at least 60% marks in social science subjects and 65% in science subjects.
  4. They need not have applied for any Ph.D. or MPhil program at any university.
  5. They should be capable of studying in the UK even without a scholarship.
  6. Students ought to have a valid and approved admission granted by any university in a Commonwealth country.
