Can India Global Leaders Scholarship Benefit in Studying in Australia?

Any student who wishes to study in the University of Queensland can apply for higher education with The India Global Leaders Scholarship. The India Global Leaders Scholarship is specifically for Indian students who wish to complete their graduation or postgraduation in economics, business or law. You are not eligible if you plan to apply for Master of Business Administration, Master of Business Analytics or the Master of Leadership in Service Innovation.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Indian citizens who currently do not study in Australia and who typically live in India. Those who are enrolled in an English language course or programme in Australia may still submit an application.
  • Students who are starting at UQ and have received an offer for an appropriate undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programme are eligible.
  • Academic excellence is the basis for awarding the scholarships. Students with high academic standing must apply.
  • Students are not permitted to hold more than one tuition scholarship at once.

Benefits of Getting India Global Leaders Scholarship

  • Only half of the tuition is covered by grants.
  • The scholarship ranges in value from 5,000 to 20,000 Australian dollars.
  • You will be emailed unique invitations to select ‘invite only’ lectures, presentations, and activities throughout the course.
  • Gain access to advance your leadership and career abilities.
  • The criteria utilised to choose recipients include extracurricular accomplishments, career aspirations, and academic records.
  • There is no additional application form necessary for the UQ scholarship programme.
  • You will join a network of Global Leaders Scholarship graduates after graduation, expanding your professional network both domestically and internationally.

Note: 30 November is the start date for Semester 1 and 31 May for Semester 2

Necessary Documents Include

  • Student must have a resume or curriculum vitae (CV)
  • A personal or inspirational remark shouldn’t be longer than 1,000 words.
  • A reference letter from faculty or an employer in English

Selection Criteria

  • Based on the total number of scholarships offered and the number of applicants, candidates are shortlisted.
  • Selected candidates go through several interviews.

Following that, the panel makes a decision based on your academic accomplishments, extracurricular achievements, professional goals, and academic performance in relation to your rivals.
